The year is drawing to a close and what a wonderful year it has been especially in the literary arena!

So much is going on in the literary world that it's hard to keep up! So many authors,books,characters,genres,catagories,book clubs and so much more!

With life being as fun-filled, action packed and adventureous as it can be for a keeping it moving spirit like myself. I forget to post what I should,where I should due to moving too fast,having too much fun,being alittle hung over and afew others.

I'm sure you all understand somethings  don't neet to be posted online! ; )


Besides our regular book get togethers,we've also attended several book seminars,conferences and book events. Several in our literary group have already penned works and are awaiting publishing,some are self publishing and some just starting out writing their project.

At most events you'll learn something you didn't already know. You'll met new and old authors and get to know them up close and as personal as you wanna get!

You'll find authors very approachable,willing to share advice, very giving and most love to mingle,talk and have alittle fun.

We're looking at several literary events to add to the calendar for 2013.

Hotter Than July Meetup @ The Sheraton City Center St.Lous MO

Our July Book Swap Meetup was HOT!!!!!!

As we all know there are many different genres,subjects and categories of books.

Well this month's rapp session was in the arena of Erotica.

Yes peeps,it was HOT!!!!

We were blessed member Cheryl and her e-reader,and we took turns reading different clipets from different books.

Afew I remember Daddy Longstroke and The Pussy Whisperer not sure of the authors but it was a very interesting meeting. We collected more books and we went upstairs to atrium snack on the good eats,afew glasses of wine and of  course very,very good conversation.

July Book Event~July 15th 6pm

It's that time again!!!!!!!!!!

Book swapping,book discussions,good peeps,good eats and plenty of good books!!!

Our last book swap was an awesome,simply tasteful event and this will be also!

I'll be putting the Naughty Series by Brenda Hampton in rotation,so if you've been wanting to read this series it'll be available.

Great Book Events In St.Louis

There are some awesome book events in St.Louis this fall,and we're going to be there!

Fall Into Books

OOSA Pajama Jam

Both of these events will be great! Some of my favorite authors are at both and I can't wait to listen and learn from some great authors!

These events are local for us here in St.Louis, we can make most of the events without hotel accommadations,but its always cool to hang out with people coming to check out your city.

Both event have night's out,sightseeing,great authors,books and fun!

Str8up Reading "The Naugthy Way!"

It's being Str8up busy in my world lately with events,graduations and travel it's been alittle hectic,but still I rise!

Cheryl's Good Reads Book Swap was a wonderful success. Ladies were fellowshipping in sisterhood,conversations flowed freely and so did the drinks.

It was a "Tastefully Simple Event with our wonderful hostess Stephanie! Games were played,books and businesses discussed wonderful time for all.

Made contact with a  women's organization that can use some all collected books and magazines.

AWESOME!!!!

While away I took afew books to read,just to past time while I wait where ever..lol! Last year at my son's baseball game,another mother was reading a book by Brenda Hampton she said it was "naugthy". I told her I had recently read a book by Brenda Hampton and she went on to tell be about this series...so I had to investigate.

I found that there was alot of naugthy going on,and I've read Naughty One and I'm now on Naugthy 2,looking forward to reading all including Jaylin's World and In My Shoes her latest. Brenda Hampton's writing is addictive. I found myself on the balcony of my cabin in the wee  hours getting in her books,yes after partying til the wee hours I came in went to the balcony and read til the sun rose on the horizon. Yes,I could not put it down. I like the way she writes,she keeps you interested from beginning to end.

OOSA BOOK CLUB

OOSA in the organization that will be hosting The Pajama Party in Oct here is St.Louis,last year was a blast with wonderful authors,readers and many bookclubs attending. It is a weekend event which usually include a meetand greet,shopping,getting out to see the sights and of course the Pajama Party and The ATL Awards!!!
